Yes! There are still people who are using insurance based
chiropractic despite the sudden upsurge in cash practice. After all, the Mechanical Motion Therapy treatment was going with that when it was first introduced. Dr Maurice Pisciottano explains a number of reasons for which some
chiropractors will still choose insurance based chiropractic over the cash practice. Some of them include:
- Ignorance
Despite the fact that the crystal clear advantages of cash
practice have been spread to all corners of the world, we still have a number
of people who are in living in their own world. The idea on cash practice them
is new and they haven't heard of it before. Probably, we cannot blame them for
not knowing about it but it has been said before that ignorance has no defense.
- Conservative nature
Some people seem to be too rigid to take up new ideas. There
are some chiropractors who are well aware about the whole idea on cash practice
but are not still ready to embrace it. Dr Pisciottano finds it hard to
convince such people to change their chiropractic care system. Perhaps they are
afraid of losing the savings they have been investing in the insurance company.
However, it is still not clear about the reason for the conservative nature.
- Chiropractic rules and policies
Careers are always guided by the set of rules and policies
of operation. These are the once that guide any decisions that may be made by
the chiropractors. At such, it is not as easy as it sounds for them to decide
to go cash all over sudden.
Whatever the reason for deciding to stick to the insurance
based system, Dr Moe Pisciottano says that cash practice remains to be
best. It is therefore advisable for all
the chiropractors to make wise decisions in this.
